I ChangedTrying to cover the tears, trying not to show my fears.
Why do I keep it all inside? My pain getting harder to hide.

I used to be cheery, it used to be real.
But now it's different, and they're making some big deal.

Saying "Why are you so sad?" and "You look depressed."
Can't you just leave me alone, let it rest?

So maybe I've changed...what's that got to do with you?
Just because I've changed? Well maybe you have too.

Everyone changes.

"Best Friend"You left me here,
alone in the cold.
I can almost see the wind blow.
It brings back memories,
memories of you.
The way you used to smile,
you know, back we were two.
three musketeers minus one, "best friends".
The warth of your hug,
and those silly jokes you told,
while trying to cheer me up, force one smile out of me.
I opened up to you, telling you everything.
& now thinking back I realize...
you told me nothing.
Nothing worth knowing, anyway.
Whatever happened? Did you just get bored?
I'm not always cheery, not always interesting,
but I thought best friends was more than that.
Maybe I was too eager,

Stone HeartThe stone wall is peaking,
Making it's rise to the top.
I try not to think about us often,
I've simply put my heart on stop.

When people look at me,
All that pity in their eyes,
I stare back with my fake contempt,
Causing them to step back in surprise.

They say I take things quite well,
They think I'm doing just fine,
But truth is, I'm not taking it at all,
although deep down I've lost my shine.

I had this gut feeling from the start,
That I would end up broken,
But an idea called love got in the way,
Now on bitter tears I'm chokin'.

In my imagination you were different,
You were just the boy of my dreams,
But reality kicked

Open CasketAn open casket,
a black rose.
I bend over her body,
my tears stain her clothes.

I feel their empty hugs,
they say I'm in their prayers.
As I mourn her death,
upon me are their stares.

They say they understand me,
say they know how I feel.
But I can see their steely glares,
they pretend this isn't real.

I say my dear goodbye,
they lower her into the ground.
I throw myself upon the dirt,
and weep without a sound.

What HappenedWe used to be so close,
the best of family.
The two of us,
just you and me.

You knew everything about me,
I thought that I knew you;
But the you I knew was different,
I didn't have a clue.

We were as close, as close could get,
but then it happened, you two split.
And the my trust,
just kind of quit.

How could you?
you lied to me.
When you left,
it made me see.

So many things you'd told me,
were all just stupid lies.
When it was truly official,
I finally opened my eyes.

What happened to us?
what happened to we?
What happened to you?
what happened to me?

Now I haven't got anyone,
nobody I can trust.
Haven't got anyone

The WarA young girl.
Broken and torn.
On the verge of tears.
Keeping it all inside.

She's laughing and smiling.
So you assume she's all right.
But deep down she isn't.
Fighting herself.

The war rages on.
The battles are fierce.
But no tears are shed.
Just blood.

No matter what happens.
Everything she tries.
She loses every battle.
And the war continues on.

FOREVER.

Suicide After DeathAs they look upon her casket,
tears in their eyes,
wondering why she did this,
they can't seem to help but cry.

What they don't know would hurt them,
suicide was her dismiss,
but could you call it suicide?
she was dead so long before this.

No EmotionsSometimes it's easy,
Sometimes it's not.
Sometimes it's cold,
Sometimes it's hot.
Sometimes I smile,
Sometimes I grin.
Sometimes I lose,
Sometimes I win.
Sometimes I pout,
Sometimes I frown.
Sometimes I'm up,
Sometimes I'm down.
Sometimes I'm sweet,
Sometimes I'm nice.
Sometimes sugar,
Sometimes spice.
Sometimes I laugh,
Sometimes I cry.
And then there's those days...
I want to die.

INSOMNIAa young girl yawns,
darkness falls.
her thoughts still racing.
she slips under the covers.
her head hits the pillow.
her thoughts still racing.
she squeezes her eyes shut,
tries to play herself a lullaby.
her thoughts still racing.
she lays in bed for hours,
no closer to sleep.
her thoughts still racing.
she clears every thought from her mind,
they all come flooding back.
her thoughts still racing.
a young girl yawns,
dawn breaks.
her thoughts still racing.

Sorry.I'm sorry for the things I do,
sorry for the things I say.
Sorry that I talked to you,
sorry that I'm this way.

I'm sorry that I trusted you,
and sorry that I lied.
Sorry that I laughed at you,
sorry that I cried.

I'm sorry that I hated you,
I'm sorry I loved you too,
I'm sorry that you broke my heart,
and that it still belongs to you.

Happily Ever AfterThunder shakes her bedroom walls and she is jolted awake.
As her eyes open, her bedroom becomes a stage.
She climbs out of bed and puts on her costume. The uniform that brands her popular.
Her hurt is covered by makeup as she throws her hair into a high ponytail.
She grabs a bagel and kisses her mother's cheek before stepping outside and walking to teh bus stop, umbrella overhead to keep her perfect image from being ruined by the rain.
The bus pulls up, somehow managing to stop before it splashes a puddle of muddy water on it's boarder.
She boards the bus, her perfect image still preserved, and takes a seat next to her "friends."

MisunderstandingPitter Patter, goes the rain.
Her cry, filled with pain.
Where is he?
Where did he go?
Didn't I see him? Just a minute ago?
He was here, and now he's gone.
And now a thought begins to dawn....
He's left her, he's moved on.
She loved him, he loved her too.
Or so she thought, and in her mind, a plan begins to brew.
She'll get back at him, oh yes!
She will, she'll make him pay.
She'll even kill.
He took her heart.
She took her life.
And now that man has lost his wife.
He didn't leave her, he hadn't moved on.
He was too late....and now she's gone.
Pitter Patter goes the rain.
And now his cry is filled with pain.

One Summer Nightone night,
i got to thinking,
all about you and me.

one night,
i finally realized,
how stupid i could be.

one night,
while i was thinking,
i looked you in the eyes.

one night,
was then i realized,
you were a mess of lies.

one night,
i got to thinking,
all about you and me.

one night,
i finally realized,
why we weren't meant to be.

One Last GoodbyeWriting one last letter, saying one last good-bye,
My blood falling to the floor, as if coming from the sky.
"You told me that you love me, but we could never be,
I cannot live without you, so I'm doing this you see."
"If we cannot be together, then I don't want to live,
I've got nothing left at all, nothing left to give."
I close the envelope softly, seal it wish a kiss,
Turn to look the other way, and wait for my dismiss.

i lost my drive for achievement,
i've misplaced my will for success,
i can't bring myself to try harder,
i'm really becoming a mess.

i'm in too deep,
a little too late,
though i still care,
i'll just sit and wait.

i'm destroying my world,
i've let you down,
i'm a disappointment,
in my imperfections i drown.

i have no drive to try,
i've pretty much given up hope,
i have no reason to change this,
i don't know how to cope.

Together,as a team/couple we could have soared. We would have been a success on every level. Business, spritual, personal, fitness. You screwed up a good thing and locked me out. The prson I trusted most, loved most, was closest to-broke up swiftly, told me "no contact', called the police if I tried to, got a restraining order, had me arrested for stalking, cost me 60k in legal fees, ..... the damage is extensve,nd possibly not salvageable. you did it,so I ican see why you would not want to try. We were on our way to the top. You could be driving your Porsche,
Iwill support you in all of your new interests. We ca accomplish anything together. Look at us apart. Hollow maningless lives. Going nowhere . Suicidal. You hold the key(for right now). Act quickly or your choices will be limited. I will be in th drivers seat, and will be drpping you off at the next stop. You do have reason to change. Stop talking/writing. Take action.Get off yourass girl. Tell your man you love him and dont want to lose him. Other within weeks, you will hit bottom. Options exhausted. Poor judgement at every juncture. A loser's spiral that could have been stopped, Why wasn't it? What possible reason is preventing from shutting off the man who loves you, hurting both of you, ruining both your lives and "destroying your world" The Sophmore Slump becomes a the Junior's Jump .
Stop whining. You admit your choice of paths was wrong and you miss your old life. YOU CAN INCORPORATE WHAT YOU WANT OUT OF THE NEW YOU,AND CHUCK THE REST. BEST OF BOTH WORLDS, OR NO NONGER OF THIS WORLD
I will help you to cope. you have plenty of reasons to change, especially your relationsip with me, who loves you more than any man(or wiman)ever will. LU/MU
